Polymechanic EFZ
Polymechanics produce high-tech workpieces and implement new developments. They program modern CNC machines and work with conventional milling and turning machines.
Based on construction drawings, they plan machining steps and program complex workpieces, which they control with high-precision measuring instruments. They also assemble and commission devices, systems, and machines.
Plant and apparatus engineer EFZ
Plant and apparatus constructors manufacture housings, metal cabinets, air conditioning systems, piping systems, and parts of production facilities according to technical drawings.
They use traditional tools such as saws and welding equipment as well as high-tech tools such as computer-controlled bending machines, welding robots, and laser cutting systems. The profession requires a lot of manual work and is ideal for committed and proactive individuals.
